Quinz assisted Downtown Real Estate, a rapidly growing Belgian real estate developer focused on mixed-use projects in Belgium’s urban landscape, in setting up a joint venture with Straco for the acquisition and further development of a real estate portfolio previously owned by Befimmo, which was valued at 104 million euros. The joint venture will allow parties to join forces in further similar acquisitions.
The transaction also included the buy-out of two minority shareholders of Downtown Real Estate (Serge Hannecart from LIFE and Mathieu Gijbels from Immopro).
