We are proud to announce that Quinz has again been recognized by the Chambers Global 2020 guide for its Dispute Resolution and Corporate M&A practice, whereby Benoît Allemeersch (Dispute Resolution) has been promoted to Band 1 and Bart Lintermans and Klaas Thibaut (Corporate/M&A) are both individually ranked in Band 4. Note that Chambers’ yearly assessment of our (sector-focused) Life Sciences department is not published in the Chambers Global 2020 guide (but will be included in the upcoming Chambers Europe 2020 guide).
Dispute resolution: Band 3
Our Dispute Resolution practice has been ranked in Band 3 of the Dispute Resolution overview and is described by Chambers as best known for its advise to clients on a range of contentious mandates relating to contract breaches, distribution agreements, shareholder disputes and insolvency.
Benoît Allemeersch, previously ranked individually in Band 2, now has been promoted to Band 1 in the Chambers Global 2020 guide and is particularly praised by clients for his ability “to translate his detailed knowledge into strategic advice for the client”.
Corporate M&A: Band 5
For Corporate M&A, Quinz has been ranked in Band 5 of the Corporate M&A overview, and is, according to Chambers, best known for its commendable corporate practice handling a broad range of transactional and advisory mandates, including domestic and cross-border sales and acquisitions.
Bart Lintermans (individually ranked in Band 4) enthuses clients during negotiations by his “very hands-on, to the point and pragmatic” approach.
Klaas Thibaut (individually ranked in Band 4) is lauded for his “outstanding legal advice and client management”.
