Jasper is an associate in our dispute resolution and corporate M&A teams. He has a keen interest in several aspects of company law, including shareholder conflicts, directors’ liability and mergers and acquisitions, as well as adjacent fields such as insolvency law, corporate finance and corporate governance.
Before joining Quinz, he was a fulltime researcher at the Jan Ronse Institute for Company and Financial law at KU Leuven. His research concentrated on corporate winding up and dissolution.
Following his Ph.D. defense in January 2022 he remains associated with the Jan Ronse Institute on a voluntary basis for teaching tasks. During academic year 2021-2022 he was appointed as substitute professor for the course Multinational Corporate and Commercial Law. Until September 2022 he was secretary to the editorial board of the legal journal Tijdschrift voor Rechtspersoon en Vennootschap - Revue pratique des sociétés. He is a member of the Belgian Centre for Corporate Law (BCV).
He frequently speaks at conferences or seminars and publishes on various aspects of company law.
