The Dutch-based industrial services group Normec Group with a focus on testing, inspection and certification has acquired SMC, a Belgian provider of (industrial) safety and maintenance services and products as well as safety trainings. SMC’s founder remains on board and will be Normec’s partner in boosting SMC’s further growth. The deal value remains confidential.
