Foresco Group has acquired Corpack. Corpack, founded in 1994, is a cardboard producer based in Beveren that supplies a wide range of transport packaging with an annual turnover of 18M EUR. Corpack will operate independently within the group. The deal value remains confidential.
The Foresco Group, a portfolio company of the Belgian private equity group Dynamica, is the market leader in the Benelux as a producer of wooden pallets and export packaging, with, until now, only a relatively limited offering in industrial cardboard. Thanks to the acquisition of Corpack, an important cardboard branch is now being added.
Quinz has assisted the Foresco Group in its due diligence of the target and the negotiation of all transaction documentation. The Quinz deal team was led by Klaas Thibaut and included Wout Hooyberghs, Cody Demuytere and Sayanah Staelens. The team has previously also advised the Foresco Group on a number of other transactions.
