As our firm keeps growing, Quinz is currently looking for a dynamic and diligent paralegal to join its team.
Job Description
You will be a key member of our team, primarily active within the dispute resolution and competition departments, and will be responsible for (among others) the following tasks and responsibilities
- researching case law and legal doctrine;
- monitoring new regulations, case law and legal doctrine in several practice areas;
- case management for court cases;
- assisting in drafting, reviewing and negotiating various types of contracts;
- library and legal databases management;
- know-how and contract management;
- assisting with team management and compliance monitoring; and
- providing support for business development initiatives such as client seminars, legal submissions, etc.
Profile
- You have a Belgian Bachelor's or Master's degree in law/legal practice/criminology or an equivalent experience;
- Relevant experience in a law firm or the legal department of an international company is a plus but not a requirement;
- You are a problem solver and you appreciate taking initiative;
- You are conscientious, well organised and service-oriented;
- You are fluent in written and spoken Dutch as well as English and/or French; and
- You have an excellent knowledge of MS Office.
