As our firm keeps growing, Quinz is currently looking for a dynamic and diligent paralegal to join its team.

Job Description

You will be a key member of our team, primarily active within the dispute resolution and competition departments, and will be responsible for (among others) the following tasks and responsibilities

  • researching  case law and legal doctrine;
  • monitoring new regulations, case law and legal doctrine in several practice areas;
  • case management for court cases;
  • assisting in drafting, reviewing and negotiating various types of contracts;
  • library and legal databases management;
  • know-how and contract management;
  • assisting with team management and compliance monitoring; and
  • providing support for business development initiatives such as client seminars, legal submissions, etc.

Profile

  • You have a Belgian Bachelor's or Master's degree in law/legal practice/criminology or an equivalent experience;
  • Relevant experience in a law firm or the legal department of an international company is a plus but not a requirement;
  • You are a problem solver and you appreciate taking initiative;
  • You are conscientious, well organised and service-oriented;
  • You are fluent in written and spoken Dutch as well as English and/or French; and
  • You have an excellent knowledge of MS Office.

This position is in principle full-time, but we are open to discuss a 4/5 schedule and other flexible solutions.
