What is ACCA?
ACCA (Assistentenconferentie / Conférence des assistants / Conference for research assistants) purports to offer a platform for legal researchers (‘(research) assistants’) affiliated with Belgian universities, through which dissemination of legal research amongst these researchers is facilitated and contact and cooperation amongst them is enhanced. Since 2012, a conference is organized each year, in which a broad topic is discussed, thus offering an opportunity for the researchers to enter into contact with each other and with each other’s research. Central to this initiative are the cooperation and cross-fertilization of Belgian legal research.
The conference takes place on Friday the 18th of September 2020 in Leuven and the overarching theme is "Technology and society: the evolution of the legal landscape".
