10 years Quinz – 10 years of Q-DNA – 10 years of intriguing work
In honour of our 10th anniversary, we are thrilled to launch our anniversary series with our first publication “A reflection on the Belgian prohibition on the abuse of economic dependence, as it celebrated its first birthday”.
During the first year of its application, a number of interesting decisions have been rendered by the Belgian courts. The cases generally relate to disputes concerning a distribution or supply relationship between parties active in various industries (e.g. textiles, sanitary equipment, banking services, medical devices, armory, etc.). It is undoubtedly still in its infancy, and one can expect that its application will only increase with time. This anniversary is the perfect opportunity to share a number of preliminary reflections on its use and efficacy.
